Recently, the anatomy-inspired silhouette appeared in a grayscale finish complete with mint flair. Vamp overlays opt for varying shades of grey, with the panels closest to the tongue donning the darkest shades of the bunch. Miniature swooshes on the lateral heel, lace loops along the tongue, and nearby “airmax” branding also indulge in a fresh mint hue, further contrasting the grayscale finish. The game-changing sole unit underfoot favors a pitch-dark aesthetic that’s interrupted by bold green visible Air units. All together, each aforementioned component helps expand the 28-year-old design’s legacy into the next few decades.
