First Look At The Nike GT Hustle 2

First Look At The Nike GT Hustle 2

Each year Nike hosts the best boys and girls high school basketball players in the nation for a week-long immersive experience at the Beaverton Headquarters. Outfitted with exclusive gear and signature silhouettes, the sportswear goliath has since made a slight adjustment to its Run, Jump and Cut series; rebranding the Nike GT Run as the GT Hustle.

Initially revealed via the Nike EYBL Instagram page, the successor to the Victor Wembanyama-endorsed GT Run experiments with more than just its namesake. The upper is an amalgamation of textiles, reserving its sidewalls for pillowy-stitched panels while a ballistic mesh fills in the vamp and a structured suede acts as the forefoot’s mudguard. The collar has risen slightly higher than that of the upcoming Sabrina 1 while still maintaining a low-cut composition. Underfoot, the curved midsole is assumed to be constructed using the brand’s staple Zoom cushioning system while the tread embarks on an all-new spherical traction pattern.

The Nike GT Hustle 2 “Nike Academy” is a player exclusive for those who attended the camp. However, the silhouette’s debut can be expected over the coming months. In the meantime, enjoy a first look at the pair below.

For more basketball-ready offerings, the MB.03 “Joker” was recently revealed.
