A Grayscale Finish Consumes This Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2

Following a widely-lauded collaboration with Teyana Taylor, the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 has maintained a relatively low profile.

Recently, the modern take on Peter Moore’s 38-year-old design appeared in a series of grey hues. Grayscale finishes aren’t new to the Air Jordan line, and works well on the high-top offering. The ensemble’s darkest shade arrives via the recessed profile swooshes and updated outsole, leaving all other components to enjoy lighter makeups. The tongue, laces, “Wings” logo on the lateral ankle, and midsole deviate in an off white hue that complements their surroundings well. “Zoom Air” branding appears on the tongue label and sockliner, denoting the internal update to Michael Jordan’s first signature model. The construction – or “deconstruction” – of the remainder of the shoe also favors comfort, as suggested by the sneaker’s official name.

Enjoy retailer photography of the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch soon.

In related retro news, the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 is expected in two styles come September.
