Reflective Panels Appear On The Nike Air Max 90 “Black/University Red”

Throughout the summer months, Nike’s Sportswear division has imbued a number of lifestyle silhouettes with reflective paneling. From the Nike Dunk Low to the Air Force 1, the Reflection collection now adds a nearly “Triple Black” Air Max 90 to the burgeoning roster of footwear.

Much like its recently previewed greyscale offering, the Tinker Hatfield design assumed a clad-black color blocking, save the titular “University Red” tongue, heel tab and Max Air cushioning system underfoot. The remaining profile logos adhere to the surrounding uniform aesthetic, curing everything from the ballistic mesh vamp and tumbled leather overlay to the entirety of the sole unit underfoot in a singular jet-black shade. What’s more, the mainstay mudguard boasts a reflective finish under the right lighting conditions which showcases a school of miniature swooshes.
