Michael Le Thanks to the Swoosh, 2024 is brewing up to be a pretty great year for sneakers. Alongside the release of several highly-anticipated Jordans, we can expect the return of many a past classic, including but not limited to the HUF x Nike Air Max 1 from 2004.
Confirmed by @bubblekoppe earlier today, HUF and Nike are reprising their partnership in the honor of the 20th anniversary of the above-mentioned Air Max 1. Though no other details have been unveiled just yet, it’s possible we’ll be receiving a true Retro of said release, complete with its “Dark Apple” accents and neutral-dominant upper. But given that the GR was accompanied by not only a Hyperstrike variant but also two unreleased samples, there’s plenty of opportunity for the brands to turn the celebration into something much bigger than a single sneaker.
