Bold “Black/Red” Takes On The Nike Air Max Plus

Bold “Black/Red” Takes On The Nike Air Max Plus

The Nike Air Max Plus continues to celebrate its 25th anniversary in style.

Ahead of returning in its original color schemes, Sean McDowell’s iconic design has emerged in handfuls of compelling outfits. The most recent look brings a classic black and red finish to the Tuned Air pioneer. The pair features a standard build and finish, with mesh bases and their accompanying TPU overlays delivering a bold gradient. Glossy mudguards also enter the mix, opting for ruby-colored flair that also animates the visible Air Max and Tuned Air units underfoot. Badges on the top of the tongue and whale tail-shaped shanks at the mid-foot also participate in the fresh “Bred” aesthetic, allowing the midsole’s foam component to revel in the spotlight with its white makeup.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch soon.

In related sneaker news, the Nike Dunk family continues to grow.
