Michael Le Updated December 6th, 2023: The Stussy x Nike Air Flight 89 Low collection is scheduled to release in North America, the UK and Europe on December 8th while Japan, Korea and other regions will receive a release on December 9th. All three pairs will be available for purchase at select Stussy chapter stores and select Dover Street Market locations. Ahead of the collection’s debut, all three colorways have been updated in official imagery.
Updated November 27th, 2023: Official imagery of the “Habenero” and “Black/White” colorways have been revealed ahead of the collaborative pack’s release this holiday season.
Being one of the Swoosh’s longest-running collaborators to date, it’s only appropriate that Stussy help kick off the 35th Anniversary of the Nike Air Flight 89.
Gearing up for a big comeback, the Nike Air Flight 89 will be celebrating its 35-year-milestone at the beginning of 2024. And to honor the occasion, Stussy will be crafting not just one but three special, collaborative colorways of the iconic silhouette. Over the weekend, one pair from said trio was leaked, its design simple yet lightly draped in luxurious snakeskin. Hits of red are then applied to the Swoosh, midsole, trims, and embroidered co-branding, while the rest of the leather-dominant construction opts for a neutral white finish.
