From the return of OG styles to the debut of bright, albeit simple colorways, the Nike Air Max 1 has kept things relatively straightforward as of late. This isn’t quite the case with this newly-revealed pair, however, as the silhouette is further acquanting itself with bold animal prints.
The Nike Air Max 1 is often channeling its animal instinct, previously dressing itself in many a different texture and pattern. Here, leopard takes the helm, covering the entirety of the mudguard in black and dark brown spots. Underneath, the suede material is clad in a light tan finish, matching that of the paneling along the midfoot and heel. White shades, then, paint the satin-like inserts underneath, while darker neutrals highlighting the tumbled leather Swoosh, laces, and the embroidered branding adjacent. Seldom hits of orange and cream are present as well, applied along the midsole and woven label, respectively.
Enjoy a closer look at this animalistic take on the Nike Air Max 1 ahead. These should be available at select retailers as well as Nike.com soon, so sit tight if you’d like to add a pair to your rotation.
