Few shops have the reach like Bodega does. Every brand imaginable wants to link with the New England based boutique-turned-brand, because their unique yet consistent vision has resulted in one of the most impressive collaborative catalogs on the scene.
Next up is a project with ASICS, their first since their MC-PLUS from 2022. Dubbed the “After Hours”, Bodega’s GEL-NYC design clearly relies on a color palette that skews towards nighttime activities. With a brown suede exterior overlay accented by touches of purple, green and red, it’s hard to ignore a potential connection to the most notorious wrong-doer in Gotham City — The Joker. Whether or not that’s the case, we’ll have to wait for Bodega to announce further details, because they just dropped a teaser on Instagram confirming a September 29th release date.
