Sneaker News Every Fall season, Nike returns to the ever-flowing well of “Wheat”, delivering popular Sportswear icons in the workboot-inspired look. This year, the Air Max 90 returns to the formula as we get a first look at an upcoming “Flax” colorway featuring a monochromatic treatment.
Unlike previous iterations of the wheat-colored Air Max 90, this version sticks to a uniform aesthetic, applying “Flax” on the entirety of the suede upper and sport mesh interior lining. The same shade makes its way on the tongue, laces, and sole.
It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Nike bring this “Flax” look to the Air Force 1 and others, so stay tuned for updates and expect this Air Max 90 to launch on nike.com shortly.
