Michael Le The brainchild of Pharrell and NIGO, Billionaire Boys Club is currently celebrating their 20th Anniversary. And in honor of the occasion, they’re linking up with Clarks for not one but three collaborative colorways of the Wallabee.
Here, Billionaire Boys Club and Clarks have crafted what is effectively an ode to their cultural imprints. Using the Wallabee as a vehicle, the two elevate an iconic graphic signature to the streetwear label: the “Diamond & Dollar.” This iconography is printed atop three different colorways — “Quercia,” “Spiaggia,” and “Fanta” — all of which feature a high quality construction that consists mainly of premium Italian suede. What’s more, BBC’s mantra — “WEALTH IS OF THE HEART AND MIND. NOT THE POCKET.” — is hidden underneath the tongue of each pair, further highlighting the brand’s heritage.
Packaged with a second set of laces as well as a number of custom shoe fobs, the Billionaire Boys Club x Clarks Wallabee will be available beginning September 19th. The “Fanta” colorway is exclusive to BBC flagships, whereas the “Spiaggia” and “Quercia” will be releasing at both BBC stores as well as select retailers.
