A Stealthy “Black/Anthracite” Takes Over The Nike Air Max Scorpion

A Stealthy “Black/Anthracite” Takes Over The Nike Air Max Scorpion

Launched in late 2022, the Nike Air Max Scorpion demonstrated the brand’s ability to create compelling product entirely over digital communication. A product of pandemic restrictions, the sneaker has emerged in handfuls of styles over the last year, with the latest opting for a stealthy “Black/Anthracite” finish.

Flyknit construction up-top features varying dark shades, with the lighter hues taking over profile swooshes and other branding hits. Protective panels along the bottom of the upper and felt-like material along the tongue inject some personality into the pair, despite their “Black” makeovers. The exaggerated Air Max unit underfoot deviates from the dark-colored upper in favor of a semi-translucent off white tone that starkly contrasts the Air Max Scorpion’s upper. Together, each aforementioned component helps expand the bold design’s roster of offerings, helping it cement itself within the mainstream footwear market.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch soon.
