The New Balance 580 Gets Doused In “Raincloud”

The New Balance 580 Gets Doused In “Raincloud”

Throughout the month of September, the New Balance 580 looked toward the retro aesthetics of decades past with “Vintage Teals” and “Washed Burgundy”. After taking a trip down the archives, the cult-classic composition now extends a modernized monochrome treatment.

Cured exclusively in a greyscale palette, the pair’s supple suede overlays are stricken with an overtly faint “Raincloud” grey that allows for the jet-black mesh base layer to soak up the limelight. Pitch-dark color matches are stretched to the tongue construction, laces, tread and the trim of the profile “N” logo while the mid-foot Rollbar is accented in a dark grey tint. What’s more, the inner lining and midsole are cast in a bright white contrast underfoot, further amplifying the chosen tones above.

The New Balance 580 “Raincloud” is currently available overseas in Europe. While we await news regarding a stateside release, the pair can be seen in detailed imagery below.

In other news, the Jordan 11 Low “Space Jam” recently surfaced.
