The adidas Samba Dresses In A Vintage “Collegiate Green”

The circa 1949 tooling prepares an OG composition.

The adidas Samba Dresses In A Vintage “Collegiate Green”

From a trio of colorways designed by Pharrell Williams to an upcoming team-up with Hello Kitty, the adidas Samba has shifted into a collaborative vein of releases over the past few years. However, the 3-Stripes longest-running model in production still maintains room for a sizable general release business, such as this “Collegiate Green” coated effort.

Exploring an eerily similar color blocking to that of the silhouette’s “Chalk Green” ensemble from this past May, the low-top trim executes a clad suede upper draped in the familiar forest green hue. Expanding further along the tongue construction, laces and leather inner lining, the upper’s green-centric dominance is interrupted via a refreshing set of crisp white contrasts that illuminate the mid-foot 3-Stripes, tongue tab and heel while a classic gum outsole concludes the proposition underfoot.

The adidas Samba OG “Collegiate Green” is expected to be released within the coming weeks. In the meantime, the pair can be seen in detailed imagery below.

For more from underneath the 3-Stripes umbrella, the ULTRA 4D Spider-Man 2 releases on October 20th.
