Heavily informed by Friday the 13th — as well as some equally notable superstitions — this ASICS GEL-LYTE III sets a tone befitting the spooky season. “Phantom” and “Mid Grey” help highlight the various textures throughout the shoe, while the darker accents adjacent call to mind images of black cats. Bright yellows are then applied to select trims as well as the “XIII” embroidery threaded onto the silhouette’s signature split tongue.
