A “Collegiate Blue” Update Arrives To The Popular adidas Samba OG

If you’re Samba’d out but not to the point of checking out the adidas Campus 00s, what you may need is the popular low-top trainer in a new “Collegiate Blue/Gum” color scheme.

Seemingly part of the brand’s Fall/Winter 2023 plans, the newly-surfaced style keeps the adidas Samba‘s beloved design intact. The “T toe” opts for high-quality leather, which is par-the-course for the performance-informed detail. The remainder of the shoe, however, also opts for a soft fabric build, donning a plethora of perforations from forefoot to spine. Profile 3-Stripes, tongues, and upper heel overlays deviate from their surroundings with a leather construction, simultaneously introducing “Cloud White” contrast into the mix. “Samba” text on the lateral sidewall dons a muted gold touch that complements the semi-translucent “Gum” sole unit well. Together, each aforementioned component helps expand the popular adidas Originals sneaker beyond its classic white and black looks.

No firm adidas.com launch details have been shared by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official photos of the pair ahead. The “Collegiate Blue” style is priced at $100 USD.
