The Air Jordan 1 Element Gore-Tex Returns In A Classic Jumpman Colorway

The Air Jordan 1 has been reworked countless number of times since its 1985 debut, with Gore-Tex materials having brought a weather-resistant tooling to the hardwood-to-lifestyle staple. Recently, the high-top waterproof model was injected with the banner’s iconic “Infrared” treatment.

Save the solid grey shade of the ripstop mid-foot quarter and tongue, the entirety of the upper is swatched in pitch-dark hues. A distinctly dark grey tint envelops the mudguard, collar and heel while the pillowy vamp and upper ankle lining are treated to a jet-black compliment. Resuming the greyscale treatment along the profile swooshes, a solid white midsole contrasts the silhouette’s seldom appearances of bright red that ascertain the tongue tab, the heel’s Gore-Tex branding and opposing ends of the semi-translucent tread underfoot.

The Air Jordan 1 Element Gore-Tex “Black/Red” can be seen ahead in official imagery as we await further release details.

In other news, the Kobe 4 “Gold Medal” is reportedly returning in the Fall of 2024.
