While the basketball ecosystem patiently awaits the debut of his ninth signature shoe, Damian Lillard and adidas have positioned their immediate focus on the cost-effective Dame 8 EXTPLY. From the hardwood inside Fiserv Forum to the outdoor neighborhood courts in Germantown, Wisconsin, Lillard’s latest signature solution is built to withstand any number of elements and playing surfaces.
Exploring just under a handful of ensembles since its early September launch, the Dame 8 EXTPLY now surfaces in its second-most vibrant edition to date. While not as titular in nature as its clad-neon effort, the mid-top model favors an equally vibrant “Pulse Mint” treatment that consumes the mesh upper, overlays and the forefoot strap. Complimented by a crisp white sole unit underfoot, an opposing installment of jet-black contrasts illuminate the tongue, laces, inner lining and the heel’s enlarged 3-Stripes. What’s more, the “Dame Time” branded lace locks at the mid-foot are composed in a bright pink finish.
The adidas Dame 8 EXTPLY “Pulse Mint” is scheduled to release on November 1st for a retail price of $130. In the meantime, the pair can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.
For more on-court efforts, the KD 16 “Aunt Pearl” is available now.
