Michael Le Once hailed as “The Shoe of the Summer,” the adidas Samba is easily one of the most iconic sneakers in the history of the Three Stripes. And thanks to a bit of extra help from Louis Vuitton’s current Men’s Creative Director, the silhouette continues to live a life of luxury and esteem.
Since well before he stepped foot at one of the biggest fashion houses of all-time, Pharrell has proudly stood by adidas, working with the German sportswear brand on a massive catalog of collaborative sneakers. But it wasn’t until 2022 that the Samba caught his attention, thus sparking a long-running obsession with the icon.
Despite having released not one but three colorways back in August, Pharrell and adidas are already prepared to release his Humanrace Samba in two new styles: “Cloud White/Pink” and “Ash Grey/Green.” Similar to past installments, both pairs are constructed of a premium ECCO leather, which is etched with zig-zag stitching, contrast stripes, and monochromatic suede toe cap.

In other adidas news, the brand has since cancelled the Yeezy November Releases.
