Despite coming under fire for his less than stellar conduct, Ja Morant continues to be employed by the Swoosh. They’ve even presented him with a pretty decent sign-on bonus: the Nike Ja 1 “All-Star.”

Looking at the colorway from a purely aesthetic point-of-view, the Nike Ja 1 “All-Star” is a relatively straightforward, albeit very colorful offering. From the toe to the heel, the shoe is dressed in many a bold hue, alternating between light reds, oranges, blues, purples, and neons. The custom details, on the other hand, are much more interesting, making the athlete out to be the brand’s newest employee, featuring badge-inspired detailing on the tongue and calendar reminder graphics across the insoles. Moreover, the outsole is etched with one of the athlete’s most notable Tweets — “Now I’m proud to say I work for the Check.”

Enjoy a closer look at Ja Morant’s All-Star kicks via the retailer imagery ahead. While a firm release date has yet to be revealed, it’s more than likely we’ll be seeing these on Nike.com and at select retailers before the games are underway.
