The New Balance Kawhi III Returns With A “Sacred Geometry” Colorway

With the recent addition of James Harden, Kawhi Leonard is now the latest member of a Big Three within the NBA alongside Paul George on the Los Angeles Clippers. Throughout a handful of games, Leonard has led the Clipps to a 3-1 record while dissecting defenses in his third signature silhouette. Initially revealed against their crosstown rivals in the Lakers on the first of the month, Leonard debuted an all-new colorway of the New Balance Kawhi III – which is set to release on November 8th.

Initially revealed back in February just a week before its inaugural launch, the NB Kawhi III was available for a little over a month before the Boston-based brand issued a recall for the pair due to cracking eyelets. The arrival of the “Sacred Geometry” colorway marks just the second colorway of the model to be released.

The mid-top model rests upon a monochrome backdrop as a bright “Optic White” hue fills a dominant majority of the upper real estate before amplifying the pitch-dark midsole via a speckled treatment. Pitch-black contrasts bring further clarity to the tongue, heel and inner lining, juxtaposing the colorless dominance exuded up front. Bringing explosive creativity to life much like his game on the court, the pair receives a titular “Cobalt” blue injection at the tongue tab and semi-translucent outsole while accenting the trim of mid-foot overlay that stretches to the vamp. What’s more, the aforementioned tint is cast in a metallic finish across the visible mid-foot shank that’s stamped with additional NB branding.

The New Balance Kawhi III “Sacred Geometry” is scheduled to release on November 8th for a retail price of $160. In the meantime, the pair can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.
