Nike’s Premium Air Max Plus Gets A “Pale Vanilla” Makeover

Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2023, the Nike Air Max Plus has released a slew of OG installations across the globe. From Australia exclusives to the silhouette’s upcoming return to “Sunset”, the iconic Sean McDowell design has since added a luxurious take on the model to the new year’s slate of releases.

Anchored by a blank “Summit White” leather base layer, the circa 1998 design receives a contemporary outfit. Matching the luxury handbag aesthetic that accented the Air Jordan 1 “Praline” from September, the silhouette is doused with a collection of rich neutral hues that accentuate the premium tooling. Swapping its TPU overlays for an embroidered textile, the latter’s repetitive detailing fills the upper with a “Sanddrift” accent complemented by a suede full-length mudguard tinted in “Sail”. What’s more, the whale tail-inspired mid-foot shank and the profile swooshes just above are stamped with a “Pale Vanilla” accent.

The women’s exclusive Nike Air Max Plus PRM “Pale Vanilla” was previously released in Canada and via a select number of European retailers for a retail price of $245. While we await news regarding a stateside release, the pair can be seen ahead in official imagery.

For more from the Beaverton brand, the Jordan 11 “Gratitude” releases on December 9th.
