Arriving in a tonal brown treatment.

“Earth Strata” Crash Lands On The adidas Gazelle

Initially built for the pitch 70 years ago, the adidas Gazelle has maintained its timeless allure through a fanciful amount of reconstructions utilizing textures and materials removed from the silhouette’s clad-leather origins. Recently surfacing in a suede-treated ensemble, the low-top trim has plans to meet the unsuspecting winter weather with a monochrome contrast.

From the vamp and connecting quarter to the heel, the entirety of the upper’s real estate is cured in a smooth suede texture. Dipped in a rich dark chocolate hue, the chosen shade of “Earth Strata” extends onto the debossed tongue tab and laces while gold foil “Gazelle” branding achieves a striking finish amidst the neutral backdrop. What’s more, the silhouette’s remaining embellishments are collected into a slightly darker shade of brown that concludes the tonal installment within the 3-Stripes, heel tab and the canvas sole unit underfoot.

The adidas Gazelle “Earth Strata” is currently available overseas in Europe. Enjoy a detailed look at the pair below as we await news regarding a stateside release in the coming weeks.
