Shades Of Blue Take Over This Kid’s Nike Dunk Low

Shades Of Blue Take Over This Kid’s Nike Dunk Low

Despite not being included in the original Be True To Your School collection, the University of North Carolina has dominated the sneaker ecosystem with an unofficial annual release tied to the hues of Michael Jordan’s alma mater. Come next year, the latter two themes will meet for a tonal blue take on the Nike Dunk Low.

Eerily reminiscent of the 2019 edition of the Air Jordan 1 “UNC”, the kids-exclusive Dunk Low achieves a similar contrast between a vibrant baby blue base layer and pitch-dark “Obsidian” overlays. Leaning more towards a familiarity with the navy shade, the inner lining, laces, tread and both the tongue and heel tabs dress in rich color matches. Despite the clear connection to Chapel Hill, the low-top trim concludes with a simplistic bright white accent that fills the midsole and profile swooshes.

The grade school-exclusive Nike Dunk Low “Light Blue/Navy” is expected to release in 2024 for a retail price of $90. In the meantime, enjoy a detailed look at the pair below.
