Collecting a mass amount of inline colorways, the Air Jordan 1 Mid simultaneously favors the Beaverton brand’s youth-sized audience with and endless stream of grade school-exclusive efforts – the latest of which achieves a the full-breadth of a “Multi-Color” palette.
Set atop a crisp white base layer that acts as a blank canvas, each of the upper’s various panels are doused in a completely different shade. Crafting an aesthetic reminiscent of the interior of a Crayola box, the mid-top model arrives with a pastel-tinted “Vapor Green” mudguard thats accented immediately by a bright “New Emerald” quarter. Complementing the colorless tongue with titular “Ember Glow” laces, a similar shade of “Hyper Pink” consumes the heel underlay. Stamped with “Taxi” yellow swooshes, the jet-black heel counter and greyscale heel collar overlay bring a neutral finish to the ensemble.
The grade school-exclusive Air Jordan 1 “Multi-Color” is expected to be released in February 2024 for a retail price ranging from $60 (PS) to $120 (GS). In the meantime, the pair can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.
