Blue Flair Appears On The Retro New Balance 1906R

New Balance already has several plans in store for the 1906R in 2024, entering the new year with a dual collaborative effort between INVINCIBLE and N.HOLLYWOOD. In the background, colorways like this bespoke silver and cerulean blue treatment continue to offer the sneaker ecosystem with an expansive outlook on the Boston brand’s heritage icon.

Boasting retro running flair with a palette surmised of the hues found throughout the 2000s, the breathable low-top trim revolves around a supple cream-white base layer that stretches light neutral color matches across the laces and high-spec midsole. Despite a few clarifying hits of black within the mid-foot, inner lining and tongue, the silhouette’s mainstay contribution echos a silver metallic ethos across the upper’s TPU overlays and heel counter. Elsewhere, heritage-infused color blocking explores a vibrant blue finish that accents the quarter, profile “N” logos, lace loops and the pods of the N-Ergy midsole.

The New Balance 1906R “Silver/Blue” is currently available at select retailers. As we await a broader release, the pair can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.

In other news, the Jordan 4 “White Thunder” releases in Fall 2024.
