Stark Industries’ Employees Inspired The Latest size? x adidas Originals Capsule

Throughout the past few years, adidas has crafted a fruitful and action-packed partnership with Marvel. Partnering with the superhero brand for timely collaborations coinciding with the brand’s movie and video game releases – most recently Black Panther 2 and the PS5 Spider-Man 2 video game – Marvel’s never-ending run of comics and mediums has provided adidas with their pick of the litter when it comes to the two entities’ footwear initiatives.

For their next collaborative installment with Marvel, adidas prepares its own team up alongside UK-based size? that celebrates the character that iconized a decades-long run of MCU movies, Tony Stark. Drawing specific inspiration from the billionaire playboy philanthropists Stark Industries, the upcoming collection provides the fictional companies’ workforce with a duo of company-wide silhouettes.

Nodding to the uniforms of Stark Industry employees, the renovated adidas Marathon TR is built for the workshop environment with rubber-printed toes, heel bumpers and rubber-dipped laces. The silhouettes’ striking trefoil outsole underfoot is color-matched to the clad-neutral upper above, draped in a cool white mesh with warm beige overlays.

In contrast, the adidas Gazelle looks back to the original 1964 Stark Expo that appeared in the second Iron Man film from 2010. Borrowing a retro-inspired palette, a solid gradient of yellow to dark orange ensues across the smooth leather 3-Stripes while a navy blue suede consumes the upper in full with “Stark Expo” gold foil taking the model’s typical Gazelle branding.

The draw for the size? x adidas “Stark Industries” pack is open starting on December 9th and closes on December 14th.
