Although the Nike Dunk High has enjoyed multiple moments in the spotlight since debuting in 1985, recent history has seen Peter Moore’s silhouette win over young sneaker collectors.
As 2024 fast approaches, more makeovers of the iconic basketball shoe have emerged in kids-exclusive sizing. The most recent example sees the Nike Dunk covered in a clean combination of “Light Bone” and “White.” Panels throughout the upper set the stage for bolder “Royal” flair that enters the picture in the form of profile swooshes. Rich blue also animates branding on the tongue label, as well as the small loop on the spine. Underfoot, the color scheme slightly changes, with stitching across the “White” midsole opting for “Royal” flavor. Air Jordan 1-reminiscent traction, however, introduces a faint “Volt”-like hue into the mix. Together, each aforementioned component helps create a playful update suitable for kids to Nike’s high-top sneaker. While it’s yet to be seen, the colorway could also land on sizing for Little Kids and Toddlers.
Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, as you wait for firm nike.com launch details. The Big Kid’s Dunk High is priced at $105 USD.
In related sneaker news, the Air Jordan 9 “Powder Blue” is set to return in original form come March 2024.
