Jared Ebanks Introduced by the hands of AWAKE NY, the ASICS GEL-NYC debuted earlier this year to a vast amount of fanfare. As the silhouette’s base of enthusiasts continues to grow, so does the low-top trim’s affinity for expanding its inline efforts.
Utilizing a shade of “Graphite Grey” that’s eerily close to a faint olive hue, the silhouette’s suede upper overlays are doused in the dimly lit shade, juxtaposing the jet-black mesh base layer just below. In between the latter are connecting smooth leather panels that imbue the upper with a “Smoke Grey” accent. Meanwhile, a section of the neutral-based palette extends a vibrant cream complement across the sole unit in full before further consuming the laces, inner lining and profile logos.
