Burgundy And Black Collide On The Nike Air Max 97

Flaunting classic gum outsoles.

Burgundy And Black Collide On The Nike Air Max 97

Despite various offshoot styles, the Nike Air Max 97 has maintained a steady influx of compositions that remain true to the circa 1997 construction. Further expanding the palette of the Christian Tresser design is a duo of crimson-red hues that prepare the model for an early 2024 outlook.

While a bright white midsole gleams with colorless fervor, the silhouette’s remaining real estate is anything but. Dipped in a deep shade of burgundy, the model’s mesh base layer clashes with jet-black “Anthracite hues at the tongue, laces inner lining and the upper-most overlays. The pitch-dark tone finds a similar approach on the full-length mudguard while the tongue’s wine-red quarter is offset by “University Red” swooshes. The latter’s crimson appeal is applied additionally along the mid-foot’s profile swooshes and the full-length Air cassette – which sits atop a calm “Gum” outsole”
