This Air Jordan 38 PE Makes The “Playoffs” Connection

When it comes to Jordan Brand modern day product, the design team never hesitates to bridge a connection between past and present. Such is the case with the newest Player Exclusive of the Air Jordan 38, which surfaced just before the new year.

With the Air Jordan 38’s design DNA centered around its predecessor from three decades prior, Jordan Brand has offered the current flagship game shoe in some attractive AJ8-inspired colorways like the recently revealed Air Jordan 38 “Bugs Bunny”. This newly launched PE now displays the iconic “Playoffs” colorway, with a full black nubuck upper and the wild pattern plastered onto the midsole, with the stylized “23” found on the 1993 model’s mid-foot cross-straps proudly placed the forefoot.

Recently, Jordan Brand athlete Brandon Ingram sported the footwear in an NBA game, but here we have a detailed look via photographer @uninstructedvision, who has officially snapped pictures for Jordan Brand in the past. See the gallery of photos ahead for a closer look.

In other Jordan news, check out the first-look details on the upcoming Air Jordan 11 “Bred Velvet”.
