Nighttime Themes Cover The New Balance 90/60 To Kick Off The New Year

Conceived in 2022 as an abstract take on design cues from the 99X series, the 9060 cemented its status as a key mover for New Balance in 2023 and one of the brand’s crucial lifestyle products heading into 2024.

While the hybrid model doesn’t have an origin story comparable to that of the 2002R or 550 – an important consideration for sneaker purists – that hasn’t kept the 90/60 from being among the best movers in the casual sneaker market. Readily available in inline color treatments with the occasional collaboration arriving every few months, the 90/60 seems to have captured that elusive blend of retro sensibility and modern charm that is still in demand today.

More common in suede builds, the 90/60 is freshly offered in a leather/mesh build with black as the primary canvas. A dark royal mesh base is accented with teal great overlays and a soft pink at the fore-foot pods and tongue, emanating a night-life vibe on its way to last call.
