Towards the end of 2020, Packer Shoes revitalized the Reebok Premier Trinity – a staple racing solution within the running community lauded for its DMX Ride cushioning system. While the circa 2000s silhouette hadn’t received much lifestyle love up until a few years ago, the Boston-based brand has recently dove back into the archives to resurrect the Y2K era runner amidst the ecosystem’s modern obsession with the eras of decades past.
Retaining the same panels as the model’s original namesake – the Premier Trinity KFS – a more premium construction takes hold in place of the silhouette’s past synthetic toolings. Set atop a breathable mesh base, a technical collection of smooth leather and rich suede overlays imbue the upper with a heavily layered aesthetic while the mid-foot panels achieve the brand’s staple ventilation system. Underfoot, the sole unit has been slightly updated with the pairing of a DMX midsole and a lugged DMPR Tek outsole for traction in a myriad of elements.
The Reebok Premier Trinity is expected to debut its resurgence in two colorways; “Mahogany/Sedona”, “Bone/Moonstone” and “Vintage Green”. Both colorways are currently available at Australia’s Up There storefront for a retail price of $158. While we await news regarding a broader stateside release, both colorways can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.
In other news, the Kobe 8 Radiant Emerald releases this February.
