Lapstone & Hammer Presents Indigo-Dyed ASICS For Lapstone Indigo 2024 Capsule

Lapstone & Hammer Presents Indigo-Dyed ASICS For Lapstone Indigo 2024 Capsule

Lapstone & Hammer’s connection to indigo dip-dye techniques goes back to their first ever seasonal collection of Champion hoodies. With their personalized craft perfected the Philadelphia-based boutique is now offering their sublime work in shoe form to the public for the first time as part of its LAPSTONE INDIGO 2024 project.

Their choice of canvas — the ASICS GEL-NYC and GEL-1130 — was not random. Both of those running heritage silhouettes are built with heavy suede/mesh constructions, leaving them privy to absorbing dye quite nicely. As you can see in their official images, each pair of the GEL-NYC and GEL-1130 capture the striking blue in its own way, ensuring that each and every pair purchased is truly distinct from one another.

Furthermore, the suede and the mesh materials seem to capture the color in varying degrees, creating an incredible multi-toned contrasted look works harmoniously with the design of the 2000s-era runners.

Lapstone & Hammer confirms a February 3rd, 2024 release date for the LAPSTONE INDIGO 2024 capsule; the GEL-NYC will retail at $180 whilst the GEL-1130 will be available at $160. They’ll be available in-store at these Chestnut location as well as their online shop at 11am EST.
