Grimace Takes Over This New Balance Fresh Foam BB v2 In Purple Suede

The newest Fresh Foam BB model takes after a lovable McDonald's character.

Grimace Takes Over This New Balance Fresh Foam BB v2 In Purple Suede

Grimace of McDonald’s fame took the world by storm via the Grimace Crocs in the late Fall of last year. The all-purple look is back as it floods the upcoming New Balance Fresh Foam BB v2.

This unofficial connection between the NB brand and the fast food chain is hard to ignore as the newly revealed basketball model dresses in a full purple suede look. The hits of black on the slanted N, as well as the touches of red and yellow on the tongue tips adds even more of that Golden Arches effect. Again, this is not an official collaboration on any level, but anyone who doesn’t love Grimace is a red flag.

The New Balance Fresh Foam BB v2, which officially launched on February 2nd in the “Moonbeam” colorway, is set to arrive throughout 2024 in a variety of new colorways. Regarded as the brand’s top-flight non-signature model, the BB v2 will primarily be on the feet of Zach Lavine as continues to power through a somewhat down season.

In other NB updates, check the New Balance MADE IN USA 2024 collection, which begins dropping on February 8th.
