The adidas D.O.N. Issue 5 Arrive In All Star Fashion

The lowkey new-look for Donovan Mitchell's signature shoe is set for an All-Star Weekend release.

The adidas D.O.N. Issue 5 Arrive In All Star Fashion

As Donovan Mitchell readies for his 5th All-Star game, his signature shoe with the Three Stripes is following suit. Dressed primarily in white, the adidas D.O.N. Issue 5 is taking on the shades of Indiana for a fitting tribute to the Hoosier State.

While the orange & blue tones that his new D.O.N. Issue 5 come in aren’t too far of a divergence from traditional Cavs colors, neither are they too far from the Pacers or the upcoming All-Star Jerseys. With those uniforms equally reliant on navy & gold, those colors here potentially serve as homage to the host city, as well as simply some complementary pieces of accenting. The “Crystal Blue” three stripes branding and gum sole assist in making an otherwise conservative “Core White” upper pop that much more. More broadly speaking, the D.O.N. Issue 5 represents a commitment to sustainability, with all the drops from the line made partially of recycled materials.

Whether you’ll be taking in the festivities from Indy or from the couch, the newest version of the adidas D.O.N. Issue 5 slides in as a particularly celebratory pair to add to your on-court collection. Just a few days before the weekend proper kicks off, these will hit the adidas website on February 15th for $120.

Elsewhere on the brand’s slate, the adidas Crazy 8 received re-released in the original Kobe Bryant colorway.
