Subtle detailing celebrates the model's 1972 origins.

Premium Accessories Accompany The Nike Air Force 1 Low

Subtle premium treatments continue to take Bruce Kilgore’s Nike Air Force 1 to new heights, evident on a number of recent inline releases designed in celebration of the model’s storied heritage. The theme continues on the Beaverton brand’s latest AF1 Low Next Nature installment, complete with familiar yet out of place fabrics and luxury add-ons.

A sail-colored mesh quarter panel and unique tongue set this delivery apart, with Nike borrowing the silhouette’s breathable sock liner fabric on the latter element. Dark shades of blue take to the Swoosh, heel, and outsole in a familiar color blocking scheme, accentuated by forest green “Nike Air” typography on an otherwise all-white leather base. Underfoot, the design calls in a sail-tinted speckled midsole in true Next Nature fashion, matching the hue of the quarter and laces up top to complete the look. As an added bonus, Nike also throws in a vintage-inspired “Just Do It” keychain featuring debossed gold cursive over green leather, further building on the shoe’s elevated appearance.
