“Seal Grey” Takes Over The ASICS GEL-TERRAIN

The initial announcement of the ASICS GEL-TERRAIN came at the very end of 2023, an early look at the brand new addition to the ASICS collection for 2024. With its four inaugural colorways dropping in January and an off-shoot Kiko Kostadinov collection shortly after, it’s time for the silhouette to begin working its way into the mainline, something the “Seal Grey” edition should very much help accomplish.

Speaking generally, the ASICS GEL-TERRAIN can be understood as a way to take the performance runner designs of models like the GEL-FUJITRABUCO or GT-200 and refract it through a street-ready lens. To that end, editions of the GEL-TERRAIN to date have taken to far more muted palettes than the neon ones that frequently graced the aforementioned lines.

In this “Seal Grey” release, that tendency remains, opting for a conservative primary shade that gets an earthy update as you work through the shoe. Though the titular tone has a pronounced effect utilized on the mesh upper, it’s adjusted closer to jade on overlaid, no-sew film panels. For a few last details, the sole introduces translucent aquamarine while the GEL cushion goes jet black.

No strict release date has been set for the ASICS GEL-TERRAIN “Seal Grey,” but they will retail for $140 once they do arrive. Scroll down for an official suite of images in the meantime.
