A Greyscale Nike Air Max Plus Emerges For A Women’s Release

A monochromatic makeover for the 25 year old silhouette.

A Greyscale Nike Air Max Plus Emerges For A Women’s Release

Though maybe lacking a bit of “brand new” luster that the Air Max Dn or Air Max Plus Drift boast, the Nike Air Max Plus remain solid as ever as they celebrate their 25th anniversary. Keeping the festivities going, the latest Air Max Plus goes all grey for a women’s-exclusive release.

There’s no way around it, this monochromatic Air Max Plus is an embrace of everything neutral. Yet within those bounds, there’s a bit of room for exploration, with about half a dozen different shades of grey gracing this sneaker. Taking up a majority of it, True grey hits the mesh uppers, with a steel-like shade enveloping the wavy ribbing.

Ecru hits the tongue and mudguard while midsole is draped in a adjacent color, keeping things within a familiar range. The underpinnings below a black and red outsole venture towards chrome, a reflective dressing that adds a ton of luster. Finally, though you’ll have to squint to see it, even the air bubbles get tinted towards grey.

The Nike Air Max Plus “Grey” does not carry a specific release date nor price at this time. However, if past trends continue, these will slowly begin hitting shelves and Nike.com in women’s sizing, carrying a MSRP in the area of $180.

In some high-profile news out of Beaverton, images surfaced of the VERDY Nike Dunk Low “Visty.”
