The New Balance 650 Pushes Forward In Pastel Tones For Late Spring

The New Balance 650 conga line presses on with the arrival of yet another new colorway, this time utilizing orange and blue accents against a white leather base. While many inline 650 and 550 designs fall into the categories of “sporty” or “contemporary,” this look sits somewhere in the middle as an understated yet court-worthy (once upon a time) pair.

Eyes are first draw to the heel of the shoe, treated with a mix of blue leather and grey mesh padding up near the collar. Various branded elements on the tongue, quarter, and eyestay carry the shoe’s use of blue accents forward, while a soft grey leather toe box adds subtle contrast. The design is then complete underfoot with a full-length orange outsole, not to be confused for light gum tread with solid coloring.

No release date has been set at the time of this writing, but recent trends would suggest a drop within the next few months for an MSRP of $140. In the meantime, enjoy official images below and check out the Kith x New Balance 1906R dropping March 11th.
