Speculated about and reported on heavily since their 2022 breakup, we’re now in the last legs of adidas’ remaining Yeezy drops. Following draws over the past few weeks for the Yeezy Foam Runner, Yeezy Slides and the 350 v2 “Steel,” another adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 is on tap with the upcoming release of the “Flax” colorway.
Unlike the 350 drop that preceded these, this “Flax” colorway is familiar to long-time devotees of the product line. Last releasing in 2020, the amber tinted edition of the signature Yeezy sneakers is more or less reprised the exact same way as when we last saw them. A pretty even split between shades of beige on the upper and soft yellow on the midsole and translucent medial stripe, this pair resides in the earth-toned world that Ye heavily capitalized on throughout his Three Stripes tenure.
Though the release of the remaining stock finally has the sub-brand ruling the headlines again, it is important to note that if previously reported adidas release plans hold, this and the adidas Yeezy 500 “Stone Salt” are likely to be the very last drops in the product line. adidas representatives confirmed 5 drops for 2024 alongside a silhouetted image of those remaining releases, and with these two pairs, those forecasts will be wrapped up entirely.
Like last month’s Yeezy Boost 350 v2 “Steel Grey” release, this “Flax” drop will be available in extended men’s sizing from 4 – 13.5. They’ll command the same $230 price tag, as well. Scroll down for a full suite of official product shots.
In more high-profile news out of Germany, they united with a major imprint via the upcoming JJJJound adidas Samba collection.
