Only 323 Pairs Of The ANTA KAI 1 “Sneaker Verse” Are Dropping

With the ANTA Kai 1 proving a sell-out proposition, the Dallas star’s first signature shoes with the Chinese brand are suddenly a hot commodity in footwear. Over the course of the past week and change, Kyrie has used the Mavericks matchups as an opportunity to do some guerrilla marketing, debuting several new editions of the KAI 1, such as this grey and chrome configuration dubbed “Sneaker Verse”.

The chrome and grey shades on the upper and outsole are dominant here, serving as a pretty large contrast to the overwhelming cosmic purple of its predecessor. However, the switch up in primary color doesn’t mean that the KAI 1’s tendency towards the colorful has wavered whatsoever as a gradient from orange to purple evokes a sunset at that medial point. Red also plays a major part in that section, and amid the more neutral structural elements, those three vibrant colors continue accenting the rest of the shoe, be it the sock liner, the strap branding, or the rear pull tabs.

As of right now, early indications are that the ANTA KAI 1 “Sneaker Verse” will be a very limited drop, with only 323 pairs set to mark the grand opening of the “Sneaker Verse” ANTA retail location. The ribbon gets cut March 23rd, so a release date then is likely, as is the $125 retail price that the “Artist on Court” carried.

While getting your hands on these may prove tricky, keep an eye on our Jordan Release Dates page to stay current on what other kicks are just around the corner.
