Nike’s Since ’72 sneakers honor the hallmarks of the past while embracing the fashion sensibilities of modern day sneakerheads. Given those considerations, the Nike Vomero 5 presents as a great candidate for the design theme’s choosing, fueled by Y2K heritage and currently trending once more alongside other retro Nike runners.

This latest Since ’72 delivery offers a subtle nod to the pre-Nike days, when Blue Ribbon Sports was the name of Phil Knight’s Beaverton athletics brand. Fitting navy blue treatments encompass the cage, Swoosh, and outsole on this pair, while a naturally aged midsole and Since ’72 insole stamp leave no question as to the design inspiration.
