The Nike ACG Torre Mid Takes A Vibrant Approach For Spring 2024

Retro aesthetics meet weatherproofed sneaker tech

The Nike ACG Torre Mid Takes A Vibrant Approach For Spring 2024

Nike saw the modern day popularity of the New Balance Rainier and said; I’ve got an answer for that. Enter the Nike ACG Torre Mid.

Last December, Nike announced a revival of the 1995 hiking shoe for 2024. We’ve already been graced with four releases featuring various brown/grey palettes, but full-fledged retro treatments define the model’s next women’s installment.

Official images reveal a multicolored design that’s best examined in two parts. The shoe’s canvas base prepares for a “South Beach” palette with pink accents upon a cyan backdrop, matched by a pink tongue and pull tab for good measure. Hairy red suede overlays, however, completely redefine the look, wrapping the entire shoe before moving up towards the eyelets and tongue badge. All treatments combine to produce an aesthetic that’s unequivocally AGC, powered by weatherproofing tech and made eccentric by 90s-inspired design cues.

Enjoy official images below and mark your calendars for this release on April 1st for $150. If you’re looking for weatherproofing footwear of a different variety, check out the upcoming CDG Nike ACG Mountain Fly Low 2 releasing March 22nd.
