The Nike Air Max 90 “Iron Grey” Takes A Low-Key Approach

"Pear" accents add subtle distinction.

The Nike Air Max 90 “Iron Grey” Takes A Low-Key Approach

Shades of grey define Nike’s upcoming Air Max 90 drops. Images of an upcoming “Photon Dust” pair surfaced just days ago, and now we’re learning of a complementary “Iron Grey” colorway featuring identical materials but with darker tones.

Suede overlays envelop the shoe’s toe, mudguard, and quarter to fuel a premium appearance without delving outside Nike’s traditional inline materials. Matching grey hues on the base and “Nike Air” patch re-enforce a stealthy aesthetic, differentiated by “Dark Stucco” tongue and eyestay treatments. Where the aforementioned Photon Dust colorway calls in yellow accents, this design opts for “Pear” hits on its heel and mudguard window. Otherwise, the Swoosh, laces, and midsole keep things simple in white to round out the delivery.
