Sunny Details Break Up The Nike Air Max 90 “Photon Dust”

A brighter version of "greyed-out" aesthetics.

Sunny Details Break Up The Nike Air Max 90 “Photon Dust”

While “Triple White” and “Triple Black” would be expectedly dominant if you thumbed through the Nike catalog, the sneaker giant has never shied away from throwing a “groutfit” onto their models either. With warm weather now on the horizon, the Nike Air Max 90 is the next one to receive that treatment, sliding in with an all “Photon Dust” arrangement.

In the name of accuracy, it should be noted that this pair isn’t entirely monochromatic. On top of slightly tinting its titular grey, that dominant hue is broken up with a white midsole, cream laces and very slight yellow detailing on the medial & insole branding.

Otherwise, “Photon Dust” is totally dominant, a bit lighter on the underlying mesh than on the sections over top. Speaking of, the typical leather overlays & mudguard are absent. Instead, this Nike Air Max 90 opts for suede there, though long-time devotees will know this is far from the first time for that slight curveball.

The Nike Air Max 90 “Photon Dust” is expected to release this summer, arriving with a $130 retail price. Enjoy an official gallery of images just below.
