Updated June 10th, 2024: Official images of the Verdy x Nike SB Ishod 2 “Visty” have emerged. First appearing on Verdy’s feet at ComplexCon Hong Kong, this upcoming collaboration with the Nike SB signature shoe athlete is set to drop sometime later this year. Recently, official images of the Verdy SB Dunk “Visty” has also appeared.
Verdy’s Nike SB catalog is set to reach new heights in 2024. The collaborator behind the Girls Don’t Cry and Wasted Youth Dunks is already releasing a Verdy Nike Dunk later this year, and now images from ComplexCon Hong Kong reveal a “Visty” Nike Ishod 2.
While there’s still lots up in the air regarding the shoe’s release, this co-signed pair resembles somewhat of a perfect storm for Nike’s skateboarding banner. Two culturally significant skate figures in Verdy and Ishod Wair make their imprint known; Verdy through color and Ishod through the distinctive qualities of the model itself. Wair’s second signature Nike shoe has already had a strong rollout, and its first collaboration serves to place it deeper within sneaker consciousness.
Just like the aforementioned Verdy Dunks, the shoe wears a multi-colored pastel palette aligned with the collaborator’s “Visty” character. Green and blue shades define the upper, brightened by a pink collar and Nike Swoosh, while yellow laces match the midsole underfoot.
