Anthony Edwards’ first signature shoe has already made several callbacks to his life and upbringing through design, and now that trend continues on the adidas AE1 “Georgia Red Clay.” The shoe’s vibrant color matches that of Georgia’s famous red soil, a result of long-term weather patterns that leave behind iron oxides, lending a distinctive hue. As with most adidas AE1 colorways to date, this treatment takes a simple approach with split shades on the shoe’s cage and mesh upper, with tongue and heel branding presented in black.
