A clean “Navy” colorway takes center stage for our purposes, but its joined by a “Black/Gum” alternative and a potential “Camo” pair that’s been teased on Instagram. All pairs come with co-branding on the tongue, heel, and lace tips for a cohesive delivery, made special by Potato x Vans packaging that mirrors the pattern of composition notebooks.
The duo’s use of simple, classic colorways speaks to Vans’ ambitions regarding the Knu Skool model at large, the SoCal brand having just launched a new marketing campaign celebrating the model’s legacy. These collaborative pairs will most definitely breathe new life into the shoe’s outdoor-ready MTE-1 LX cut, defined by its rugged gum tread underfoot.
