Nike SB sets the table for the upcoming Paris Olympic Games with an SB Dunk Low reminiscent of an iconic French dish. New images shared by @masterchefian on X reveal an “Escargot” design packed with fitting treatments, set to touch down ahead of this year’s opening ceremony in late July.
While the shoe boasts a theme worthy of collaborative status, its treatments walk a fine line between the eccentric and subdued. Tactile green suede makes up the base layer, reminiscent of the color of herb butter, while tan overlays take the role of a shell on the toe, eyelets, and heel paneling. A clever nod to fine dining appears on the insoles with plated Nike SB branding bordered by silverware, and a metallic Swoosh and floral heel detailing carry the theme even further. Otherwise, the design is complete with brown laces, a white midsole, and gum tread underfoot.
No official release date has been set at the time of this writing, but that should change as the Paris Olympic Games draw closer in late July. Visit our Sneaker Release Dates page for updates while we keep our ears up for more info.
